Disarm (Xylophone IV) was exhibited as part of the Brooklyn Museum’s site specific installation in the Grand Hall in observation of national Gun Violence Awareness Month in the summer of 2016.
In the series that this artwork is part of, Reyes transformed government confiscated firearms into musical instruments.
